When you request a quote or get in touch, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, the material you are interested in, your timescale, and any measurements, plans or photos you send by email or WhatsApp. If you enquire through a Facebook or Instagram lead form, Meta passes those form answers to us. Our website records basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit.
We use your details to prepare your quote, arrange a home measure, carry out and follow up on your work, and answer your questions. We may contact you by phone, email, SMS or WhatsApp about your enquiry. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
We process your information because it is necessary to respond to your enquiry and to perform a contract with you, and because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our business. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We use trusted service providers to run the business: Web3Forms delivers website enquiries to our inbox, Hostinger hosts our email, Cloudflare hosts and protects our website, and Meta provides advertising and lead forms. Each processes data only on our instructions. We may also share information with our fitters and suppliers where needed to complete your work. We do not transfer your data outside the UK or EEA except where those providers are covered by appropriate safeguards.
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you interact with our ads, Meta may collect information under its own privacy policy. Our website may use a Meta Pixel to measure how our ads perform and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the site. You can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook settings and control cookies through your browser.
We keep enquiry details for up to two years so we can follow up and reopen your quote. If you become a customer we keep records of your job for six years to meet our accounting and warranty obligations. We then delete or anonymise the information.
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
